Mitch Lewis is an author, speaker, and farmer whose passion for adventure and storytelling shines through in his work. He has penned captivating children’s books like Billy the Baaad Goat: The Big Yellow Rocket Ship and The Green Submarine, following the success of his beautifully illustrated The Mother Mountain: You Can Climb Mount Everest. Prior to his literary pursuits, Mitch embarked on an extraordinary journey, conquering the highest peaks on all seven continents after running a marathon on the same seven continents. These experiences inspired his inspirational books, Climbing Your Personal Everest – A Journey of Self-Discovery and Leadership and Climb Higher – Pursue Your Passion With Purpose. In 2021, Mitch and his wife Michelle manifested the purchase of what is now Summit Farms in Olympia, Washington. This idyllic farm, nestled on twenty-eight environmentally-protected acres, is a haven for wildlife and a testament to their commitment to farming and sustainable living. Mitch and Michelle cherish their family, including their five children, seven grandchildren, their beloved “puppy” DeSoto, and their grand-kitty Zoey. And let’s not forget “The Ladies” and, of course, the mischievous yet endearing Billy the Baaad Goat!
